QUESTIONS ABOUT VELOCE:
What does Veloce Mean?
Veloce – pronounced Vay-Lo-Chey – means fast or velocity in Italian.
What does SPQR stand for?
SPQR stands for Salvus Praesto Qualitas Raffinato in Latin. In English, this means Safety Performance Quality Refinement. These are the guiding principles at Veloce and all our products must meet these criteria. It was inspired by Ancient Rome which used SPQR as its motto. It stood for Senatus Populusque Romanus – Senate and the People of Rome.
What is the Eagle Staff / Logo?
This is our corporate logo – the Eagle. This was inspired by the military staff carried by armies of ancient Rome. The Eagle Staff was referred to as the Aquila (meaning Eagle in Latin).
Can I become a dealer?
If you are a dealer and are interested in carrying the Veloce line of premium products, please send us an inquiry to: dealer@velocegear.com. If you are a customer and would like your local dealer to carry our product line, please have them contact us at the same address.
Do you offer sponsorships?
Yes we do. Please send us a note indicating your interest and information about the racing organization you belong to. If you are an Organization that is interested in exploring sponsorships or special programs, please send us a note too. Send your inquiry to marketing@velocegear.com. Veloce Gear supports ATGATT.
QUESTIONS ABOUT VELOCE PRODUCT:
Do you make custom suits?
Though we do not make custom designed suits, Veloce offers you the opportunity to personalize your suit in colour and fitment through our E-Custom line. You can order and Empress or Emperor suit from us. We do not make custom designed suits.
Do you make Kangaroo skin suits?
We currently do not offer Kangaroo skin suits. Though we know Kangaroo hide is considered lighter and is able to offer the same abrasion and sheer resistance as cowhide, it lacks the breathability of cowhide and its durability. Quality Kangaroo skin can also be quite expensive. We are currently researching this hide and will be developing products soon.
Can I get my suit in a different colour?
Yes you can. Please see our E-Custom suits.
What warranty do you offer?
We offer warranty coverage on all our products. Please check out the details on our Help Page.
What is your exchange / return policy?

What is ECA?
ECA stands for Expandable Chest Accordion. It is one of the proprietary innovative design features on our Achillia Race suit for women. If offers women a more comfortable fit and flexibility in a suit.
What’s an inverted “V” accordion?
This is another proprietary innovation that we are proud to offer on our Achillia Race suit for women. It was developed with input from various female riders and racers. It was designed to fit the anatomy of a woman and offers un-paralleled comfort and fitment with increased functionality.
What is “Naked” leather?
Naked leather is the highest grade or quality of leather available. It offers optimal suppleness and tensile feel. It is what gives our suits and products that unique broken in feel when you first get them. We use 1.2mm – 1.4mm thickness Naked Leather.
What armour is in your suits?
Our suits come with CE armour in impact areas and are further protected by double layers of leather. They are secured in place for optimum safety and protection. Our CE armour meets or exceeds BSI European standards.
Can I modify or alter my product?
Veloce does not recommend modifying or altering your products or suits. This can compromise the integrity and safety of your suit. It may also void your Warranty. If you do require alterations or modifications, it must be carried out by Veloce or our Warranty partners to maintain your warranty coverage. Veloce must approve any alterations or modifications to maintain warranty coverage and any such work is at owner’s expense – including all shipping. QUESTIONS ABOUT PURCHASING VELOCE PRODUCT:
How can I order or purchase your products?
You can order your products from your local dealer. All E-Custom orders are processed directly from Veloce or designated dealers / partners.
Where can I find a dealer?
We are currently building our dealer network and will keep updating our Dealer Page. If you would like your local dealer to offer Veloce products, please have them contact us.
Can I order directly from Veloce?
We try to support our dealers as much as possible to better serve our customers, thus we don’t do a lot of direct orders. If there are no dealers available in your area, we will happy to assist you with your order.
I am not sure of my size, can you help me?
We have a detailed Sizing Chart available. Review the chart and pick the size closest to your measurements. We use a European sizing chart, but we provide you with US equivalents. You an also measure yourself for a custom fitted suit using our Sizing Guides – Men / Women.
Can I get Veloce Stickers / Decals?
Yes. You can obtain Veloce stickers from your local dealer or from us directly.
